Abai was born on August 10, 1845 in Chingiz Mountains, Semipalatinsk region (nowadays administrative division) He was the son of one of four Kunanbai’s wives. A statue honours Conan Doyle at Crowborough Cross in Crowborough, where Conan Doyle lived for 23 years. There is also a statue of Sherlock Holmes in Picardy Place, Edinburgh, close to the house where Conan Doyle was born.

I used the low-rising nuclear tone in the final intonation-group to show that I am not certain of the facts expressed in the first part of the question. But I could also use the low-falling nuclear tone in the tag to show that I am certain of the facts expressed in the first part of the question.

Once as usual I was sitting in front of the TV, watching a film when unexpectedly it was interrupted by ads. I saw a car which was carrying … a whole plane!!! I was furious because as we know and under all laws of physics a car could not get under way from a place with the cargo exceeding its weight tens, and even hundreds times!!!

The story under analysis is “Mr. Know-All” which belongs to the pen of the prominent English writer S. Maugham. William Somerset Maugham is one of the most successful dramatists and short-story writers as well as a novelist of considerable rank. He is known for his cynical attitude to mankind.
