Belarus has excellent opportunities for active recreation: from the calm walks on forests and national parks to release on kayaking and horseback riding. We have already had a long talking about the sights of Belarus, having spoken like we wanted to attract someone here. But now I would like to tell you about how themselves Belorussian people spend their leisure time. People are very different and everyone likes to relax in different ways.  For some people the best vacation is time spent with family, for others it is an opportunity to be alone. Someone likes to go the countryside, and someone has the pleasure of/from shopping in a noisy city.  I know, that many people go to Minsk at the weekend to go shopping, to visit  numerous theatres, museums, restaurants and other places of entertainment.

The majority of Belarussians visit ancient towns such as Polatsk, Navahrudak, Mir, Turau, Hrodna, Nyasvizh, Brest and many others. I know that in the castle of Pinsk it is also possible to see gladiator fights. In many towns there are a lot of temples and monasteries, palaces, castles and other monuments of architectural, historical and cultural value. Some people love to visit  with their family the Father Frost’s residence, that works all the year round and even in the hottest summer days . The inquisitive children do not miss the possibility to do some shooting at the Stalin Line. You mustn’t ignore our national parks and reserves, landscape and biological wildlife preserves.  Belorussians also often visit these wealth of our country.

Belarus has a well-developed agro-tourism due to natural richness of our country. The Dudutki is one of the most famous representatives of rural culture. Citizens of our country often visit this sights because here they can visit many national crafts, visit  real forge, can watchh the work of the potter. They can taste  the cheese prepared here and even taste samogon, which is authorized only here. It is even possible riding on horseback.

  There are also many Турбаза, which is located usually near lakes and rivers in forests. Отдыхающие live in small houses with all modern conveniences. What man will refuse good fishing or hunting! It is possible there. The North-West of Belarus has rich hunting grounds and егерьской service. Corresponding/suitable infrastructure is created, it includes a complex of services on accommodation, food, preparation of hunting, the work of the gamekeepers and others. In Belarus there is a lot of suitable places for fishing, but a truly unique place are Braslav lakes. In the lakes of the district there are about 30 species of fish. So Belarus has a lot of sights and places for rest.  I believe, that our country is still unspoiled and we should preserve our national values and richness of our culture.
