More proprietors

More proprietors were known as the “Fleet Street Press Barons” and papers reflected their power and influence.

A new type of proprietor was mostly interested in newspapers for the money.

The Second World War, newspapers have been dominated by Robert Maxwell and Rupert Murdoch.

In 1978 Time newspapers introduced computer technology into the printing of national newspapers, in Fleet Street.

The Time and Sunday Time did not appear for 11 months.

By the late 80s, were owned by big industrial groups.

News International (run by Rupert Murdoch) owns the Sun, Today, The News of the World, the Times and the Sunday Times.

The Mirror Group, founded by Robert Maxwell, owns the Daily Mirror, The Sunday Mirror, The People, and The Sunday Mail.

There is competition for readership between these two groups.

Many papers spend a large amount on advertising on TV and radio.

In Britain there are currently 13 national daily papers, ten Sunday papers, 60 regional evening papers and ten regional morning papers. Порой из нашей жизни  уходят люди…

Нет, они не умирают. Они так же продолжают ходить с нами по одной Земле, дышать одним воздухом, говорить, жить…Они ЕСТЬ!...НО…уже не для нас…

Терять всегда трудно. Особенно, когда есть, что терять…И это прошлое ещё очень надолго, да что греха таить, - навсегда, засядет глубоко в подсознании…откуда будет вырываться истошными и мучительными  криками , исключительно по ночами или будучи в усмердь пьяном состоянии. Но прошлое, оно на то и есть прошлое – ему уже никогда не стать настоящим, а тем более будущим, хоть иногда и кажется – Как бы было прекрасно всё вернуть  и жить как раньше» Но главное то слово в этом предложении Кажется, ведь готовую булочку нельзя испечь заново.

И можно выбросить все, уехать, улететь…- но нельзя убежать от себя. Прошлое будет постоянно напоминать о себе знакомыми улицами, местами, мелодиями, наступать на пятки, приходить в мыслях, воспоминаниях, снах… Просто нужно найти в себе силы, суметь выстоять, встретиться с ним лицом к лицу..и…, пройти мимо…просто улыбнувшись – потому что это было!
