Alfa-Bank is a commercial Bank, which is part of the international consortium «Alfa-Group». Has its придставництво in Ukraine - Alfa-Bank Ukraine. 
CJSC «Alfa-Bank» (till January, 2001 - the Kyiv investment Bank) was founded in 1993 and is included in the «Alfa-group» (Russia). The largest shareholder of the Bank is ABH Ukraine Ltd, Cyprus - 80,1013%, OJSC «Alfa-Bank», Russia - 19,8986%.

Alfa-Bank Ukraine took the second place in the rating of «top-20 of the most effective banks of Ukraine», which published the magazine Forbes Ukraine.  
The efficiency of the banks was evaluated on the basis of four indicators, calculated on the basis of the official statements of the banks for three quarters of the year 2012: 
•return on assets (net income/total assets), 
• return on equity (net profit/equity), 
• efficiency ratio (operating expenses/operating income), 
• net interest margin (net interest income/income-generating assets).

To take into account the received credit risk, in the calculation were taken well as the capital adequacy ratio (equity/assets). Alfa-Bank Ukraine took the second place in the rating of efficiency of banks with a minimum of fans here is the winner, and in terms of minimizing the risks to business of Alfa-Bank surpassed the leader of the rating.

The study confirmed the fact that Alfa-Bank exceeds that of most competitors on the indicators of profitability of the business. Alfa-Bank Ukraine scored the maximum assessment of indicators such as return on assets and capital, as well as the level of net interest margin.

Forbes - the American financial and economic magazine, one of the most authoritative and well-known economic printed editions in the world. In Ukraine the magazine is published since March 2011, and by the right is considered one of the leading business editions of the country. In addition to the analytic materials, edition prepares regular ratings of the different branches of the economy and business. «the 20 most effective banks of Ukraine» - the first rating of the banking institutions of Ukraine, published edition of Forbes Ukraine. 
Alfa-Bank has become a partner of the exhibition «Education in Canada 2013», organized by the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine. The exhibition will be held on 22 and 23 February, in Kyiv, on February 24 in Kharkiv and on February 26 in Dnipropetrovsk.

Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) took the second place in Ukraine in the international rating of the "Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey 2013" by Euromoney magazine .

On February 7, a General meeting of the banks-members of the Independent Association of Ukrainian banks (NABU). Summing up the results of activity for the last year, NABU on the results of the competition «Constellation of NABU» has defined the best banks and solemnly congratulated the winners.
