1. One pub in Edinburgh is named after William Brodie. He was Edinburgh city coucillor and Scottish cabinet-maker. But at the same time he was a burglar because he had to get money for his gambling. The title of this pub is Deacon Brodies Tavern. William Brodie was the frequent guest in this tavern and became one of the inspirations for Robert Louis Stevenson novel
